I fully understand that running the 7 Sisters Trail Race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained to safely complete a race of the distance for which I am registering. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete this run within the designated time limit. I understand the inherent risk of participating in an event during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic and accept any and all risk associated with my participation in the event and will not hold Tanawha Adventures, land owners, and sponsors responsible for any injuries or illness that may arise due to my participation in the event. I understand that no aid stations will be provided along the course and I am responsible for providing my own nutrition and water for the duration of the event.  I understand it is my responsibility to follow the provided GPS map on Trail Run Project to follow the course and complete the event.  I understand that to receive an official finishing time for the event, I must record my run with the Strava App and email the RD at info@tanawhaadventures.com with a link of my Strava data from my run. Your time will be based off your elapsed time, not moving time.  I further agree to surrender my race bib to any race official if directed to do so for any reason. I assume all risks associated with participating in this race, including, but not limited to: minor injuries, serious injury/death; contact with other participants; runners; cars; atv's; bikers; horses and other animals; the effects of weather, including heat, cold, or precipitation; vehicular traffic; the condition of the roads/trails; and unforeseen acts of nature; all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I also agree to receive any communications from the event, its parent company, or its sponsors.  Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone for whom I am entitled to act do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the race organizers, Tanawha Adventures, Monreat Conference Center, Town of Montreat, Montreat College, Montreat Wilderness, EMS, all other sponsors and property owners, and all agents, employees, officers, directors, and volunteers working for those entities from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in this event. I also agree to abide by all rules and regulations of Town of Montreat regarding behavior within its boundaries.  I also understand that there are no refunds/transfers/ deferments in the case I cannot make the event.
